annual Old West style beef barbecue

Willits Frontier Days invites you to join us for our Annual Beef Barbecue on the 4th of July in Recreation Grove Park next to the Rodeo Grounds.

We satisfy the appetites of nearly 4,000 hungry buckaroos featuring Harris Ranch Tri-Tip Roast donated by our sponsor Ray's Food Place. Our barbecue fire crew starts the fire around midnight on the 3rd to make sure the oak coals are the perfect temperature by the time our cooking crew arrives at 6:00 a.m.

Listen for the sound of the dinner bell ringing out at Noon for one and all to, "Come and Get It!" You will enjoy a mouth-watering meal that can't be beat.

The Odd Fellows Lodge, Rotary Club, and many other dedicated volunteers work through the night and into the day preparing the cowboy-style beans, garlic-buttered French bread, fresh corn-on-the-cob and salad fixin's.
